Homersfield Lake

One of the UK’s leading specimen lakes

Located within the
Waveney Valley in Suffolk

Homersfield Lake is a stunning 35-acre lake set in 70 acres of private, landscaped grounds and is regarded as one of the very best specimen fishing lakes in the UK. Homersfield village is nestled within the Waveney Valley, by the river that borders the counties of Norfolk and Suffolk, providing some of the most picturesque and unspoilt scenery in East Anglia.

We offer both full and winter memberships as well as two properties for couples and families to stay in. Kingfisher Lodge, which sleeps four and Five Islands House, which sleeps six, provides the opportunity to fish, relax, unwind and soak up the unspoilt haven of wildlife and beautiful views across the lake.

If you are feeling a little more adventurous, then walking, cycling or even canoeing on the river Waveney is a wonderful way to experience and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Waveney Valley and everything that the Suffolk and Norfolk counties have to offer.

Here at the lake

As a family we have owned carp fisheries and carp farms in the UK for over six decades. Now, at Homersfield, we offer limited full and winter memberships for fishing. We have two beautiful properties that can be rented and you can fish the lake during your stay. Non-members can book an exclusive fishing session with top specimen fisherman Phil Spinks. We offer high quality coarse fish from our holding ponds. Our films can be seen on our YouTube channel where you can take a look back at our history spanning more than 60 years.
