Five Islands House offers comfortable, relaxed and homely accommodation for
couples and families, allowing up to six guests to stay. The property sits within its
own enclosed, fully fenced private landscaped garden, with wonderful views of
the lake. It feels like home from home the moment you walk through the door.
When entering the property, guests step into a porch which leads to the
reception area. The reception area then splits into various rooms. These rooms
include a lounge with comfortable seating and an open fireplace, a flat screen TV
and DVD player. There are French doors which open out onto the patio where
there is seating, a BBQ and a hot tub for relaxation – not to mention plenty of
space for kids to run around and views of the lake.
Guests have access to their own private games room with a table tennis table.
There is also a selection of outdoor garden games for the whole family to enjoy.
There is a dining room which seats up to six guests; a kitchen which looks out
over the garden and the lake and a downstairs toilet. Next to the lounge there is
a bedroom with a single bed.
There are three further bedrooms upstairs, all of them light and airy. Bedroom
one has a double bed with a flat screen TV, Bedroom two has a double bed, also
with a TV. Both these bedrooms command a delightful view overlooking the
garden and the lake. Bedroom three is a bunkbed with two single beds, a perfect
sleeping area for children. Also, on the first floor there is a family bathroom with
a shower bath, toilet and sink.
Five Islands House has everything guests need for a proper escape to the
country. The house is located in Homersfield village, walking distance to the
heart of the unspoilt countryside of the Waveney Valley which borders the
counties of Norfolk and Suffolk and walking distances to the village pub The Black Swan, the Dove restaurant and a local cafe.

The lake is closed for fishing for a four-week period during May and June each year to
allow fish to spawn. Guests will NOT be able to fish throughout this period. Guests are
free to stay with us and can access the lake for all other purposes during this time.
We do not allow fishing groups or pets to stay at the lodge.
Fishing is for two named guests (maximum two rods per guest). Guests are allowed to fish any swim around the lake. Prices for one guest fishing which is included in the rental price. A second guest angler will be charged as set out below. We supply landing nets, weigh slings and unhooking mats. There is fridge/freezer for bait and there is plenty of room to store your fishing tackle in the games room. The welfare of the fish is our number

From the 1st of January to the 25th of March 2024 and from the 30th of November 2024 to the 22nd of March 2025 the fishing is FREE OF CHARGE (for two named anglers) and included in the rental price of the house.
From March to December one rod is £7.50 for 12 hours or £15.00 for 24 hours.
Two rods (maximum) is £15.00 for 12 hours or £30 for 24 hours.
A welcome pack which includes a bottle of wine, bottled water, tea, coffee and
biscuits is offered for our guests to enjoy. We provide bed linen, towels, two
toilet rolls, two dishwashing tablets, washing up liquid, kitchen towel roll, two
dish cloths, two bin bags, two scouring pads and tea towels.
The kitchen offers ample cupboard space, electric hob, double oven, microwave,
toaster, kettle, tumble dryer and a fridge freezer. The house also is stocked
with plates, saucepans, frying pans, kitchen utensils, glasses and coffee cups.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a utility room providing guests an alternative place
to store shoes and coats. There is a sink, washing machine and iron and ironing
board. A hairdryer is also provided.
There is a Webber BBQ for our guests to use. Please bring your own charcoal.
There is extensive off-road parking for up to three cars.
