Whether guests want to fish, relax in the conservatory while enjoying the beautiful views, or explore the private grounds and observe the abundant wildlife, Kingfisher Lodge offers something for everyone. Many visitors return to the lodge again as soon as they leave.
The lodge sleeps up to four guests in two double bedrooms. The master bedroom features its own en-suite shower, and there is an additional bathroom with a shower and bath.
The open-plan lounge and dining area includes a large flat-screen TV, DVD player, and stereo system, with free Wi-Fi throughout. The modern, fully equipped kitchen makes self-catering simple and enjoyable.

Important information
The lake will be closed for fishing for a two-week period from 30th May to 13th June 2026 to allow the carp to spawn. Guests will not be able to fish during this time but are welcome to stay with us and enjoy the lake for all other purposes.
Fishing information for lodge guests
For guests staying at the lodge, we offer two designated swims. Fishing is limited to two named persons per stay, with a maximum of two rods per person.
We provide all essential equipment, including landing nets, weigh slings, and unhooking mats. There is also an outside storage shed with a fridge/freezer for bait and space to store tackle if required.

Fishing prices for lodge guests
Fishing for one guest angler is included in the rental cost of the lodge. An additional charge applies for a second angler, based on the following rates:
- One rod: £7.50 for 12 hours | £15.00 for 24 hours
- Two rods (maximum): £15.00 for 12 hours | £30.00 for 24 hours
Fishing is included in the rental price (for two named anglers) during these periods:
- 1st January to 22nd March 2026
- 28th November 2026 to 20th March 2027
All fishing must follow our rules and guidelines to ensure the welfare of the fish.
Additional lodge information
We provide a welcome pack for our guests, which includes a bottle of wine, bottled sparkling water, tea, coffee, and biscuits to enjoy upon arrival.
The lodge comes fully equipped for a comfortable stay, including:
- Bed linen and towels
- Essentials such as a toilet roll per guest, two dishwashing tablets, four coffee pods, washing-up liquid, a kitchen towel roll, two dish cloths, a scouring pads, and two tea towels.
The kitchen features a gas hob, double oven, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, and washing machine and tumble dryer. It is fully stocked with plates, saucepans, frying pans, kitchen utensils, glasses, and coffee cups.
Additional amenities include a hairdryer, iron, and ironing board.
Outdoor facilities include a picnic table and chairs in the patio area and a Weber BBQ (please bring your own charcoal).
The property also offers a driveway with space for two vehicles.
